I love a black and white design. I have said it before and I will probably say it every time I post a shot of a black and white cake. Not wanting to go too crazy with the black or the damask pattern, we elected to keep the cake predominantly white, use a double height base tier, and a skinny damask band along the bottom. Black satin ribbon was used to finish the base of the tiers and fresh pink orchids give this piece a pop of color and focal point.
