Wedding season has officially been launched at City Girl Cakes. From now until the end of October, I will be in full wedding cake mode – with a few celebration cakes thrown in here and there.

Tara and Sean chose this simple 3 tier round with a diamond imprint pattern in ivory allowing the adorable penguin topper to steal the show. Flavours included chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream and white almond sour cream cake with raspberry buttercream. This cake was delivered to the Brightwood Golf and Country Club in Dartmouth.
Lena chose a similar pattern for her 4 tier wedding cake – but we kicked it up with a tiffany blue/white color scheme and added a couple of pendants for some sparkle!
Flavours included chocolate cake with oreo buttercream and red velvet cake with oreo buttercream. Lena made her own cake stand using a circle floral foam (could also use a cake dummy) covered in white tule, some crystal gems, and silk flowers – it was perfect! So creative…
